Las Vegas is not only the entertainment capital of the world, it's also the wedding capital of the world with over 110,000 marriages every year! Obtaining a marriage license in Las Vegas is very easy. The legal age is 18 with the required proof. You will need to bring a valid driver's license or passport for identification. There are no blood tests or waiting periods. The cost to obtain your marriage license is $55.00 cash. They will not accept credit cards, checks, or money orders. In addition, you will not need to present divorce papers.
For all legal marriages, the marriage license is required to be presented at the time of the wedding. Without the marriage license, the minister cannot perform the ceremony. The couple will be asked to reschedule & be charged accordingly. Also, please have your license ready when the limousine driver picks you up, as they are on a schedule and are unable to turn back to your hotel.
The Clark County Marriage Bureau is open from 8 A.M. until midnight on weekdays, and 24 hours on weekends. It is located downtown at 200 S. 3rd Street (close to the Golden Nugget and 4 Queens Hotel). At off-peak times, the process takes only 15-30 minutes. You may experience some delays on Saturdays and Holidays.
